Great food, great price!
No matter what your budget there are many places you can go for a cheap dinner. And the great thing is, many have outdoor heaters! So you can enjoy the outdoors while staying nice and warm. Some great places I enjoy going:
Newtown: For a sunny day I like Urban Bites. It is a trendy café located on King Street. They are affordable with meals ranging from $10 - $20. I love the all day breakfast! www.urbanbites.net.au
Another great place in Newtown is Thai Pothong. Beautiful food, this restaurant is extremely popular with the locals and it attracts visitors from out of town. Read More »

Do you like history? Or maybe you are interested in the unexplained? I know I am! Enter Sydney’s ghost tours; Sydney's early days were full of dark secrets and exciting stories; these tours will tell you all about them. Some great tours are:
The Rocks Ghost Tours run two different walks around The Rocks, the Dark North Side & the Dark South Side. These lantern-lit tours go for two hours and run every evening. Weaving through The Rocks you will go though old streets see haunted sites and houses while your tour guide tells of ghostly tales of days gone by. These tours are interesting and informative filled with historical facts.

Have breakfast on the iconic symbol of Sydney- our Harbour Bridge)
I was a student once too and know money can be tight so check out some free events at this link

Just a quick reminder that daylight savings will start this Sunday 4th October. This means you will need to put your clock forward one hour at 2am on Sunday (or when ever you wake up). You can get the official word on the New South Wales Lawlink site.
No excuses for getting to class on time on Tuesday
Enjoy the long weekend!

South America meets Sydney this long weekend for the annual Darling Harbour Fiesta! Feel the rhythm with the help of more than 70 Latin bands and dance groups. Don’t know how to rumba? That’s OK they will teach you that too with free dance classes.
The event boasts three days of Latin music, dancing, food and crafts. Check out what you will experience on the day!
We have many students from South America currently studying with us so I’m sure they will go down to have a look. If you’re from another country- even better- go and experience the Latin culture without leaving Sydney.
