Here are a few things to do in Sydney this weekend
Hopefully the rain will ease up this weekend so we can all enjoy some of these great outdoor events. Even if it is raining, brave the weather and head out.
It is looking rather multicultural (which is just the way we like it!) with the ME Bank Starlight Cinema LAN Brazilian Festa, Afro Latino Festival and the International Student Festival.

So there is no School on Thursday but there is no need to be sad... there are lots of free celebrations and concerts on across Sydney so get outside and join in the celebrations.
Take your camera along too because next week we will launch our ELS Sydney Summer Photo competition. Australia Day will present lots of great opportunities for fantastic photos.

Customs House Library
A short 3 minute walk from the college and opposite Circular Quay train station Customs House Library is a great place to visit after class.
The library has free wi-fi, a great collection of international newspapers and 40,000 books! As a visitor to Sydney you can join the library for $15 for each 3 months. You just need to show proof of your address. You can visit and study in the library without paying the membership fee.
Along with being able to borrow lots and lots of items membership gives you access to online databases and discounts to some tourist sites.
