Let's go shopping!
Need to buy gifts for your friends and family before saying goodbye to Sydney? Like everyone, are you having trouble knowing where to start? We will try to make things a little bit easier. Here are a few gift ideas!
Australian artwork: There are so many local independent artists in Sydney. A great place (and fun) to find some local artists selling their canvasses is the markets. We recommend Bondi markets! Depending on your artwork you could pay anywhere between $5 - $200. www.bondimarkets.com.au
Street art on canvas: Check our Stupid Krap! for some Australian grafitti art on canvas. From $30.

Opera House book ends: Made by Matt Blatt for $58
Australian jewellery: Handmade Jewellery can be rather expensive, but you do not have to pay an ‘arm and a leg’ for something beautiful! There is an Australian version of the US ‘Etsy’ site called ‘Made it’. This website showcases jewellery and artworks made and sold by Australian artists. Great prices too - The one pictured here is only $15!

Australian fashion: As with jewellery, there are so many Aussie fashion labels out there. New apparel brand Fire On The Skyline have some great looking (not to mention affordable) T-Shirts for only $28.

Ugg boots: One of the most “Aussie” things you can buy! A good old pair of ugg boots will scream “I have someone in Australia who loves me!”.

Good luck on your quest for the perfect gift!
