Sample Activites

Activites are held almost every weekend.  There are some of the favourites.
 
Blue Mountains - A great day trip - visit Featherdale Wildlife Park where you can have your photo taken with a koala for free, feed kangaroos and wallabies.  After we head to the Blue Mountains where you can see the spectacular Three Sisters and go on all 3 rides at Scenic World.  On the return home you will also have one last opportunity to see the Blue Mountains - at Govetts Leap
 
Canberra - a jam-packed day trip - see where the Federal Government is based at Parliament House and don't miss the view from the roof - it is spectacular.  After an embassy drive - see if you can spot your country :-)  Next up is a tour of Australia's most modern museum - The National Museum - where you can learn about the people, cultures and history which make up the Australia of today.  Then off we go to the War Memorial - a fascinating museum which informs you of all the wars Australia has ben involved in.  Lastly we have a final view of Canberra from the Mount Ainslie lookout before heading home looking for kangaroos along the way.  
 
Hunter Valley - a day of indulgence - feasting and drinking - try everything the area is famous for - Wine tasting, Beer tasting, Chocolate and Cheese tasting in a beautiful setting - you will also have a lesson in how to taste wine correctly as well as try the infamous "Dragons Breath!!" (Lunch included)
 
Port Stephens - a glorious day trip - start the day with a fantastic 4 wheel drive adventure across massive sand dunes, then the fun continues as you try your hand at sand boarding.  After this you should have built up an appetite - have a buffet style lunch on board the famous Moonshadow Cruise before setting off on a dolphin watching cruise - the dolphins are bottlenose dophins that are resident in the area. Great fun!!
 
South Coast - visit the stunning South of NSW - enjoy morning tea at the beautiful Sea Cliff Bridge, then have a guided tour around the Nan Tien temple - the biggest Buddist temple in NSW, followed by lunch at 5 Islands Brewery before heading to Kiama - a picturesque town with a famous Blow Hole. A fun day out for all ages :-)
 
Shopping Tour by coach - Live the high life - let the coach bring the shops to you!! - Visit handbag, clothes, shoe, chocolate shops - all at discounted prices and have lunch included in the deal at Botany Golf Club - Absolutely Fabulous Darling!!!!
 
Spit Bridge to Manly Walk - Enjoy the stunning views of Sydney Harbour on this 10km Walk - you will walk amongst Mangroves, Rainforests and beaches, visit Aboriginal sites and the lighthouse before enjoying the views at Manly Beach - look out for spiders, snakes and lizards :-)
 
Coogee to Bondi Beach - A glorious clifftop walk - fabulous views and an easy 3km Walk - Stop off at Bronte for Fish and Chips and spend time in Bondi at the end - looking at the shops, cafes and promenading on the beach - look out for Paris Hilton - it is her favourite place to hang out when she visits Australia!!!  In Summer also enjoy Sculptures by the Sea - when artwork is displayed on the beaches - a stunning event
 
Pub Party - the new favourite amongst staff and students is "the Down Under Bar and Bistro" - enjoy trying Crocodile or Kangaroo burgers whilst having a few bevvies (drinks) with your friends and enjoying the live music :-)
 
Palm Beach Walk - on a glorious day there is nothing better than visiting Palm Beach - the Miami of Sydney - see the homes of the Rich and Famous and explore the setting of the Australian TV Show "Home and Away".  A great walk to the Lighthouse followed by drinks on the way home at the Newport Arms Hotel
 
Opera House Tour and Rocks Tour - Not many people get to look inside the Opera House - join the school as we learn all about the history and building of this magnificent Wonder of the Modern World. A fasinating tour followed by an informative guided tour of the Rocks.  Then free time at the Rocks Markets where you can find the best souvenirs :-) 
 
AFL - come with the school to the Sydney Cricket Ground - where you can see Aussie Rules Football - the member of staff will explain the rules of the game - as we watch the Mighty Sydney Swans battle it out against the other teams -  wear something red and white!!
 
Surfing Wekend - go with Mojosurf to Crescent Heads and learn to ride the waves!!  The weekend includes all meals at the camp - 3 surf lessons, accommodation right on the beach and a great party night with a roasting camp fire - great fun and not to be missed!! Sick mate!!
 
Skiiing - skiing in Australia I hear you say!! - that's right - go with Mojosnow to the Perisher Valley and enjoy the ski season.  Great slopes for all levels, lessons and ski/snow board hire all included and great accommodation to boot - one not to be missed  
 
Tobruk Farm -  a real Aussie Experience - visit an Australian farm and find out about traditional Australian tea and bread, watch the horses and dogs hard at work moving the sheep, followed by Sheep shearing, an Aussie lunch, boomerang throwing and whip cracking - Yee-ha!!
