21-23Hoopla Festival Darling Harbour
Hoopla celebrates everything to do with circus and acrobatic arts.  From demonstrations, workshops, to performances and street theatre the action will be non-stop and best yet its free!
22-292008 Australian Swimming Championships
Head to Olympic Park to see Australia greatest swimmers in action. Swimmers are competing for a place on the Australian Olympic Team so the competition will be fierce. 
29-30Greek Festival of Sydney 
In its 29th year the festival runs for a month and opens with this event at Darling Harbour. The festival offeres music, food and arts programs.

National Trust Heritage Festival
This state wide festival celebrates the cultural heritage of Australia. Visit the website for events in your local area.

Indonesian Festival
You can learn more about all things Indonesian including music, dance and food by visiting Darling Habour's Tumbalong Park Saturday 5th April for the annual Indonesian Festival. Free

Sydney Arab Film Festival
This 3 day program will be held at the Riverside Theatre in Parramatta. Tickets from $10-15

Surry Hills Festival
Head to Prince Alfred Park for the annual Surry Hills Festival. The festival offers 6 music stages, a dog show, street theatre performances and lots more.  From 10am-6pm and best of all it's free!

Second Annual Pyrmont Arts Festival.
This fun and free event will be held in Union Square Pyrmont rain, hail or shine!  10am-4pm

The National Careers & Employment Expo
This free exhibition at Darling Harbour Convention centre will run from 10-4pm Saturday and Sunday.  Exhibitors include many Australian universities and colleges along with several of the countries top employers. The expo is a chance to gain free career and training advice as well as register your interest for vacancies.

Free Japanese Film Screenings at the Japan Foundation
Twice a month through May and June the Japan Foundation will hold free film screenings.  Movies start at 6.30pm and admission is free.  Bookings not required.  Japan Foundation is at Level 1 Chifley Tower Sydney.

Primo Italiano
Now in its 4th year this festival celebrates Sydney's first "Little Italy". Event highlights include a gourmet food market and 3 entertainment stages. Entry is free so head to Stanley Street East Sydney for a fund day of Italian culture.
