Cambridge Examination ClassesIf you are looking for a formal English language qualification that is recognised by employers, colleges and universities around the world, then consider enrolling in one of our Cambridge Examination Preparation courses. These classes prepare you for English language examinations conducted regularly by the University of Cambridge. Our courses focus on improving your English language skills and providing intensive exam practice. We also teach you strategies to help you get the best possible test result. You work from a textbook, grammar book and extra materials including sample test questions. Practice tests are given every week so that you can monitor your progress. Official examinations are typically held on the final week of the course. Our Cambridge program teachers are very experienced. With their guidance, you can achieve excellent results in the Cambridge examinations. If you wish, you can choose to study the course just to improve your English and not take the exam. Preliminary English Test (PET) This course tests the English language skills needed to survive in social and work situations in an English speaking environment.
You will receive thorough preparation in the 4 skills tested in the examination: - Reading

First Certificate in English (FCE) This course leads to the Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) and is designed to provide you with a good grounding in grammatical aspects of English and develop your skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking. You will study the five skill areas tested in the examination: - Use of English (Grammar)
- Composition (Writing)
- Speaking
- Reading and Vocabulary
- Listening Comprehension

Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)This course leads to the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) and is designed for students with a high level of proficiency in English who are already working in English or will be working in English in the near future. The course is designed to develop your English language skills to a highly competent level, so that your ability is almost comparable to that of a native speaker. This course is for students who are at an advanced level. You will receive a thorough preparation in the five skill areas tested in the examination:
- Use of English (Grammar)
- Composition (Writing)
- Reading and Vocabulary
- Speaking
- Listening Comprehension

Flexi-Track Cambridge Preparation (FCE) This course is designed for students who do not have the time available to study the full 12 week Cambridge First Certificate Preparation course. It offers all the advantages of the tradtitional program with a minimum committment of 4 weeks. You can join the course on any Monday. This flexible course provides preparation for all five papers of the Cambridge First Certificate exam, while also developing students' communicative skills and language awareness. Entry Requirements: UEC (GV Sydney) Intermediate or Upper Intemediate General English. Minimum 4 weeks study. |
