English for Academic Purposes (EAP)

If you wish to study at an Australian university, vocational college or other training institution, our English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses provide the English language and academic preparation you require to enter these institutions. 

We offer three courses:

  • English for Academic Purposes 1 (EAP 1) - introductory course
  • English for Academic Purposes 2 (EAP 2) - prepares you for further study at a vocational or TAFE college
  • English for Academic Purposes 3 (EAP 3) - prepares you for further study at an Australian university

    • You can enrol separately into one or more of these courses, or combine 2 or 3 of them in one enrolment into:

  • English for Academic Purposes - Intensive

    All three courses are competency-based. This means that you demonstrate your skills throughout the course by completing a number of practical academic language tasks. You do not have formal examinations. You must complete all of the tasks successfully in order to pass each course.
