What our Student's Say

Bimo, Indonesia

My EAP course has been excellent. I like the teachers and how they teach. There is a lot of homework so I have studied hard to improve my grammar and writing. The support the teachers have given me has been great.

The college also has good facilities especially the library and the computer rooms, which are so important for EAP students.

In the future, I plan to use the direct entry pathway to study at the Sydney Institute of Business and Technology (SIBT) before studying Business Management at Macquarie University.

The teachers are very knowledgeable, professional and friendly; my class sizes were small; the facilities are excellent, especially the computer rooms and library; and the college has a great location in the centre of Sydney.

I had serious language goals when I started at Universal because I want to study at university in Australia. I have found that all my English skills have improved and developed during my time at the college. Now I am going to study for a Diploma in Public Relations before studying for a degree at an Australian university.

I love Sydney and have enjoyed a large range of activities since I came here. I also appreciate the beautiful places, like the Blue Mountains and the Hunter Valley, which are within easy travelling distance from Sydney.

I studied EAP at Universal English College because it offered clear pathways to Australian colleges and universities. Although the study was challenging, I found the teachers were very encouraging.

EAP really improved my writing and speaking. The presentation skills I learnt and developed were valuable in building my personal confidence to speak and present information in academic seminars.

I used my EAP qualification to enter a Hotel Management course without having to take an IELTS test. I have since completed a Masters degree in Arts Administration and am currently studying for a Masters degree in Commerce.

I chose to study at UEC because the courses they offer will help me to achieve my main goal-to get into university to do my Masters in International Business. The teaching has been really thorough and my skills in listening, writing, reading and speaking are always improving.

When I started I could speak no English! I am enjoying my time in Sydney and like having BBQ's with friends and going to the beach. I look forward to getting good marks in EAP so that I can go to university.
