Learn In and Outside of the Classroom!

This course offered at Global Village Sydney (Universal English College) has been designed to give you “REAL LIFE” English learning opportunities.

What are the Course Objectives?

• Experience "real life" English
• Build confidence in speaking English outside of the classroom
• Provide an opportunity to interact with local people outside of the classroom
• Develop your speaking ability - in particular improve fluency
• Broaden your range of grammar and vocabulary for everyday situations

Assessment at End of Course

• You will receive a report and transcript of results detailing:
• Grade and comments on blog: reflection and self-improvement, written style, written accuracy
• Grade and comments on aspects of daily tasks: conversation skills, risk-taking/initiative, spoken accuracy, range of language, reading comprehension, listening comprehension
• General comments

Course Structure

Morning (AM):  Visits/activities outside of the classroom
Afternoon (PM): In class, analyse language from the morning & prepare for the next day

Course Duration: 4 Weeks (22.5 hours face-to-face contact per week)

Entry Requirement: Pre-Intermediate to Intermediate. Non-Student Visa students
