High School Preparation (HSP)If you are planning to enter an Australian high school, our High School Preparation (HSP) course will teach you the English and academic skills you need to be successful. Our focus on Australian study methods and culture will increase your confidence and help you adapt to life in your new high school. The course is divided into 4 terms per year, and combines intensive English language study with English for specific Australian high school subjects. These subjects include Mathematics, Science, Human Society, Personal Development and Health, and Computer Studies. Weekly educational and cultural excursions, and a structured sports program are also included. Our High school students study together in their own section of the college, with well-equipped classrooms and a science, art and cooking room. You will enjoy meeting students of your own age in our large HSP common area. Our HSP teachers are not only qualified English language teachers but also have extensive experience as high school teachers. They create a disciplined but friendly and supportive learning environment to help you prepare well for entry to high school. You are provided with course books, workbooks and the latest learning materials to help with your English studies.
