LACE Program Features
English ClassesThe English lessons taught at the Australian high school prepare you to use English with Australian students at the school, with your homestay family and on special excursions.
Integration with Australian StudentsYou are able to join local classes to observe how Australian students are taught. Subjects include foreign languages, craft, art, music and sport.
Buddy SystemYou are paired with an Australian student ("buddy") at the host high school during the program. The "buddies" help you to become familiar with Australian school life. It is also a great opportunity for you to build new friendships.
HomestayAs part of the program, you live with the families of the students attending the host Australian high school. There are plenty of opportunities to spend time with your host brothers or sisters and experience the Australian culture, while practising your English at the same time.
ExcursionsWe can organise city sightseeing trips and half-day or full-day excursions to exciting tourist locations or places of educational and cultural interest such as local police stations, fire stations, post offices, museums and wildlife parks.
Country Programs - Rural AustraliaThere are many schools throughout country NSW that are able to offer you a warm country welcome. Homestay and Farmstay accommodation is available and a variety of country activities await eager-to-learn students.
LACE Co-ordinatorTo make sure the program is of the highest possible quality, we appoint a dedicated co-ordinator for each LACE group. The co-ordinator organises all arrangements at the school and looks after students during their stay. |
