1. What do I need to bring on my first day?
Please bring your passport, your Sydney address and phone number and a pen.
2. Will I get a certificate?
Yes, on your final day of school you will receive a certificate of achievement.
3. What age are the students?
Our students range from high school age to adults. The average age is 18-25.
4. How many students are there in each class?
There are between 10-15 students in each class.
5. Can I take a holiday during my course?
If you are on a student visa you may take a one week holiday for every 12 weeks that you are enrolled.
6. What time are the classes?
Classes begin at 8.45am and finish at 2.15pm. You can stay and study in the library or computer rooms until 5pm if you wish.
7. Do I need to buy any books?
A books and materials fee is charged when you enrol. You will receive the course books required for your classes. You may wish to purchase an English dictionary.
8. How do I know which class I will be in?
On your first day at UEC you have an English test and an interview. We will use these to determine which level you will study in.
9. What countries will my classmates come from?
There are students from over 30 countries studying at UEC throughout the year.
