| 1. What do I need to bring on my first day? Please bring your passport, your Sydney address and phone number and a pen. |
| 2. Will I get a certificate? Yes, on your final day of school you will receive a certificate of achievement. |
| 3. What age are the students? Our students range from high school age to adults. The average age is 18-25. |
| 4. How many students are there in each class? There are between 10-15 students in each class. |
| 5. Can I take a holiday during my course? If you are on a student visa you may take a one week holiday for every 12 weeks that you are enrolled. |
| 6. What time are the classes? Classes begin at 8.45am and finish at 2.15pm. You can stay and study in the library or computer rooms until 5pm if you wish. |
| 7. Do I need to buy any books? A books and materials fee is charged when you enrol. You will receive the course books required for your classes. You may wish to purchase an English dictionary. |
| 8. How do I know which class I will be in? On your first day at UEC you have an English test and an interview. We will use these to determine which level you will study in. |
| 9. What countries will my classmates come from? There are students from over 30 countries studying at UEC throughout the year. |
